Boyfriend Jeans made Feminine

The boyfriend jean trend is awesome because if you style it correctly, you look so effortlessly chic in a somewhat grungy way, and you’re also comfortable. I’m big on comfort when it comes to style because I know that if I don’t feel good in my outfit, there’s no way I am going to want to wear it. I paired a distressed-style jean with a long sleeve purple sweater (both pieces from American Eagle Outfitters). I purposely chose a dark top because I love how it contrasts with the lighter-washed jeans, and it’s cozy too! I also chose this sweater because it’s more cropped and it keeps my outfit from looking baggy. I wore a key necklace from Juicy Couture and a cozy scarf that my sister knitted me for Christmas to add cute, simple details to my outfit. As always, I wore my black ankle boots from Nordstrom rack and cuffed my jeans up, giving my outfit a sort of hipster-grungy vibe. I always wear my olive, faux-fur lined coat because I love how the color looks with my clothing and it keeps me warm through the harsh winters in Providence, RI. To be honest, my mom gave me this coat a few years ago, so I am not sure where it’s from, but you can find similar coats pretty much at any store!

This is definitely something I would wear as an every-day look to class or to get coffee with friends. I included links for similar alternatives below so be sure to check them out and let me know what you think!
